Willow Hub (KS1)
At Anglesey, we recognise that some children will need to work in a smaller class size and have access to adapted, individualised learning. We understand that each child is an individual and tailor our offer to ensure that we develop and nurture the whole child.
Children in our Willow Hub follow the national curriculum which where appropriate, is then broken down into smaller steps to allow for personalised learning in order to meet their individual needs. In Willow, there is a strong emphasis on personal development and alongside this, children have the opportunity to develop social communication, language skills and strategies to support inclusion.
Children have the opportunity to go on trips and have access to outdoor learning to promote independence and life skills.
Access to the Willow Hub class will be based on assessments and conversations with parents and all professionals involved in supporting the child to ensure that this is the right provision that is required to help meet their needs.
