Reception

We had a fantastic day at the farm. We were so lucky with the weather and the children have talked about their experiences so much! Thank you all for giving your contributions towards the cost of the visit so promptly. Here are some photos of the day...

So, it's now March and there are definite signs of Spring! Please encourage your child to look at the flowers, buds and new leaves when you spot them. Also, talk about the days getting longer and anything else which might be a sign of Spring!
We are nearly at the end of this half term. The children have had 7 weeks of learning and have come on in leaps and bounds! We look forward to seeing you at parents' evening on Wednesday where we can share your child's progress with you and answer any questions.

STARS, PUPPY CARERS AND BIRTHDAYS!!!!

Welcome back! We hope you had a good Christmas break after such a busy December! The children have settled quickly and seem happy to be back.

Here are some pictures of the Nativity play. The children performed so confidently and looked lovely in their costumes. Thank you all for coming to watch them.

Thank you to those parents who came to our Christmas 'Hat making' workshop. The children love having you in the classroom and they really enjoyed wearing their amazing hats at the Christmas party.

We have been taking groups of children to Tescos on the school minibus. We have been learning about sugar and talking about how much sugar there is in different cereals.

What a fantastic start to the new academic year we have had!

You're children have been enthusiastic, polite and willing to learn.

Please see the attached to inform you of events taking place this term. It would be great if you could attend the workshops as we are keen to form good relationships between parents and staff.

Keep looking on the website and we will put up photos and keep you informed of any upcoming events!

Thank you to all the parents who attended the 'Early skills' workshop. As promised, here is a copy of the main points. It is great if we can work together and we must remember to keep learning FUN! Our children are still only four years old!!!
