Today we just have one sentence to write, to finish our recount of The Train Ride.

As a reminder, here are the recount shapes and plot points in order:

First the mum and girl got on the train.

Next they went past the meadow and saw the animals.

After that the train went through the dark tunnel.

Then they saw the market place and seaside. It was busy!

Today we are working on Finally.

This is a sentence that says what happened last.

Start your sentence with the word Finally and then end it with a full stop. You should include the words station and Grandma, as seen on the resource sheet below. Just incase you need to watch the ending of the story again, here is the video:

Welcome to Anglesey Primary School...Reception and Y3 were closed on Friday due to a suspected case of TB. We will let you know when your child can return to school as soon as we have confirmation of the test. Unfortunately we have had to close the Y5 bubble. We’d been doing so well. Remember if you or your child has COVID symptoms or are tested positive, please self isolate to protect others…Nursery children will return to school on Monday 21st…Thank you
