Update on Pea Seeds. Something's happened! Take a look...

Take a look at the video. Make some observations about what has changed. Look at your pea seed. Has anything happened to yours? When you have finished look at the websites below to find out more about what you have observed.

  • All about roots Take a look at this link and read the information. Why do you think that roots grow first?
  • How seeds grow Take a look at this link to find out more about how plants grow. If you don't understand the meaning of a highlighted word, hover your pointer over the word and a definition will pop up. Again, think about why a root grows first. There are also some interesting videos of seeds germinating.

Don't forget to fill in the next day of you pea plant diary and draw a picture of your observations. If you missed it from the last science session here it is to download.
