How do I get started?

• When your child starts at the school we will ask you for an email address.
• You'll receive an text message or email from us in the near future or when your first child starts attending Anglesey Primary School
• The messages will include an invitation code
• Download the My Child At School - MCAS app available for iOS and Android or visit
  My child at school website
• The app will ask for a pin code, this can be any number you can remember.
• Next the app will have a small button called 'redeem invitation code', click this.
• Enter the school code, your email and invitation code from your message here.
• The app will now ask for an email and password, the password must be 8 characters long and include a Capital letter, number and symbol like the following !-=
• Now you can login with the school code, the username you where given and the password you set.

Forgotten your password?
 

If you need to reset a password, click 'forgotten password' and put in the email that you set up this will send you a new password to your email and you can set a new password.

What is My Child At School or MCAS?

MCAS will allow us to communicate with parents and help you get information faster, more frequently and without visiting the school in person.

We'll be using MCAS at first to collect dinner money in a cashless approach to payment which in the future can be extended to school trips and other expenses that would otherwise require you to visit the school or send money in with a child.

What else can MCAS do?

We could use MCAS for several other services like the below that we may roll out in the future.

• Communication with parents through the app or website.
• Parents evening time slot bookings.
• Attendance and Behavior information.
• Clubs & Trips Information with Cashless Payment Options
• Meal Choices
• Homework
• Exam Results
• Reports
• Parental Consent
• Data Checking for Parents and Pupil data.

What if I have more than one child at the school?

If you have more than one child in the school, the MCAS app will have every child you have at the school, connected to your record as a parent.

Once you have the app installed on your device, all you need to do is log in with the details you created with your invitation code. So this will be the school code, your username and the password you set for yourself.

Once you are in the app you will find a list of options on the left hand side of the app with your childs name at the top.

This will be your childs name with an icon of a person as shown below.

Pressing or clicking on the name of the child at the top of the app will bring up a menu (as shown below) which will allow you to select which child you want to check.

Clicking on the name of any other child, will change the page to show information that is related to them.

You will have to open this menu for each child you want to look at.

This makes it possible to check multiple reports, check meal balances for each child and see if there are any important documents without having to sign in to every child.
