This week in Phonics we are learning the ure trigraph, click on to the link below and login to your Bug Club Phonics account to access the on line lessons.
I have also uploaded enough activities which you will find below, for the week for you to support your child to do each day in their phonics lessons.
New books have been allocated for you child to learn to read.
Please try this activity (Words to learn) everyday so that your child can improve on learning new words.

Extra activity
Listen to the alphabet song and see if you can practice singing along to it. You can use your magnetic letters which I sent you with your home learning packs in the Autumn term to help you recognise the letter names. You can also use the alphabet arc to help you to order your letter names in the correct order.

Today in Phonics we are going to recap on our Phase 2 sounds, and Phase 2 Tricky words watch the videos below and then ask your child to practice saying them.
Afterwards ask your child to write the sounds without looking as you say them on a piece of paper. you can do this activity daily if it helps your child to recall their sounds.
Below is the sound mat for Phase 3, and a video for Phase 3 tricky words. The videos will enable you to support your child at home with their phonic lessons.
