Geography - Greece

In this topic, the children will learn about Greece, which is a European country.

The children will:

  • Use an atlas and maps to locate Greece.

  • Use aerial photographs to make comparisons between Birmingham and Athens.

  • Use digital technology and sources to research about Greece.

  • Use correct vocabulary when explaining.

  • Comment on and discuss features of Greece’s climate and landscape.

  • Understand the importance of tourism to Greece.
