Number bonds to 5.

 

This week we are learning about number bonds to 5.

This basically means how numbers are made up of other numbers.

 

Take a look at the number blocks video below to see what numbers make numbers 1-5.

As a follow up activity, we would like you to work with someone.

Get the other person to say a random number between 1-5 and then you have to show this number of fingers using one or two hands.

To stretch you a bit further, I wonder if you can find different ways of showing that number.
