Writing

Describe a Setting

 

Grab a pencil and a piece of paper and write a DESCRIPTION of setting. 

 

Remember to use amazing adjectives, similes, and metaphors.

Include details of what is on the ground, what is in the sky, what colors and shapes there are. Also try to include some PREPOSITIONS. These are words that tell us where something is: up above, behind, on top of, in the distance etc. Also have a think and use your imagination and write what smells you can smell and what sounds you can hear.

 

I think that you should aim to write at least three paragraphs describing the setting in The Lorax.
