Sports Day. We had a lot of fun down in the Juniors. We ran in the races and then had an ice pop to cool us down

On Friday, we celebrated the Queen's 90th birthday. The cooks made us a special picnic and we had it in the playground. It was decorated with lots of bunting. Later on, we watched a special proramme all about the Queen

Stars of the week

We had a fantastic day at the farm! The weather was perfect and the children were so excited to be there! We were so proud of them all when the lady at the farm commented on how beautifully they had behaved. here are some photos to show you all what we did.

Stars of the week and puppies. No birthdays this week!

Latest awards go to....

We are sending home 'Reading Diaries'. These are a form of communication between school and home. Write down any positive comments or concerns, and we will do the same! we hope you find them useful.

These children are our STARS, our 'Puppy carers' and our birthday children!

These children received attendance awards from Mrs Flora. It is lovely to see that so many children have come to school every day. Let's hope that during the summer months, even more children will get their bubbles and badges!

A BIG thank you to all the parents who joined in with one of our Easter events.

Parents and children enjoyed eating hot cross buns.

The children made brilliant Easter bonnets with their parents and paraded in front of their parents.

Reception also joined in the dance-a-thon for Sport Relief.

It was Amaya and Subhan's birthday!

Today we had a visit from Flip the clown. He showed us how to juggle, spin plates, make the diablo fly into the air and ride a unicycle. Afterwards, we were able to have a go ourselves.

These children have received an award for good attendance. Let's hope we will see even more children receiving awards at the end of this half term.

We hope you all have a great half term holiday. It would be great if you could read with your child - they have all been given an extra reading book. They have also been given a list of numbers to 20. The children should be able to recognise them but need to practise writing them!

These children have had 100% attendance last half term

Welcome back! we hope you all had a good Christmas.

Today, we have had a visit from Flip, a clown who brought in lots of puppets. We watched a puppet show and then had the chance to use the puppets themselves. Ask your children to tell you mare about the day.

We hope you all enjoyed watching our Nativty Play. The children performed enthusiastically and extra thanks must go to Mrs Chohan and Mrs. Bath for working so hard to make the costumes and the scenery.

We have a new garden at the bottom of the playground. We have planted some bulbs with Martin and are waiting to see them grow in the Spring.

We learnt about how Sikhs celebrate Divali. Mrs Chohan lit some candles and Satnam took off her turban and showed us her hair!

These are our stars of the week and children taking home puppies.

Hot off the press... Mrs. Porter took a group of children out to Handsworth Park with Mrs. Bath and Mr. Jackson. We had a fantastic time, kicking the leaves, watching the geese and waving to the tractor.

We hope you enjoyed our concert just before we broke up for half term. As you could see, the children have all settled very well and are enjoying participating in all the activities in Reception. They have done sewing, learnt rhymes, baked cakes, celebrated Black History month as well as doing reading, writing, phonics and number work. We now have a shelter in the outdoor area and will be having astro turf fitted next week.

We have attached a few photos to show you what the children have been getting up to at school!

We look forward to seeing you at Parent's Evening tomorrow.

Welcome to The New School Year!!!

The children have just completed their first full day after two weeks of part time, and they have been AMAZING!!

They all enjoyed eating their lunch in the canteen with their friends, and have generally settled so well.

Thank you to all the parents who have brought the children to school on time and collected them promptly at the end of the day. You have played an important part in helping the children to settle so well.

Later this week we will put on pictures of your child's Key Group and we will post some dates about workshops which we will be holding later on in the term .

Please keep using the website - it acts as a link between school and home!
