Ancient Egypt -Who’s Your Mummy?

 

This half term, our history topic is Ancient Egypt. This will include looking at where the Egyptians lived and what life was like for them during this time.

Comparing life in Ancient Egypt to

Life was different for children during Ancient Egypt compared to your life now.  But how different was it?  We would like you to do a bit of research using the four headings (food, homes, school and other), to find out.  Can you write at least 2 differences between life during that time and now?

The ancient Egyptians invented one of the earliest known writing systems.  They used symbols called hieroglyphs instead of letters.
