Homework

Weekly tournaments and sessions have been set up on Times Tables Rock Stars. The sessions need to be completed each week and the children are expected to take part in the weekly tournaments. These sessions and tournaments are designed to maintain the children's rapid recall of the multiplication and division facts. #year5rocks

Be Internet Alert - Check its for real

 

This half term we are learning about the importance of checking if online content is honest and reliable. The activities in these lessons will help to give the children the skills to stay safe online by spotting the clues that something may be suspicious, misleading or a scam.

 

Interland: Reality River is an online game that expects children to use their best judgement and to not fall for the antics of the phisher lurking in the waters!

The following information is taken directly from a Public Health webinar with Dr Justin Varney: Director of Public Health, Birmingham City Council. (06.01.22) If someone in your household has tested positive and your child is 5 years old or over, they should come into school. The child should do daily lateral flow tests. If someone in your household has tested positive and your child is under 5, then they should stay at home with the person who has tested positive until the isolation period is over.
