Maths

Mr Jordan introduced you to time on Monday.  He taught you how to tell the time.

 

There are 24 hours in a day. To tell the time it's important to understand how the time in the morning is different to the time in the afternoon.  

 

For example.  8 o'clock in the morning is written 8.00 am.

However 8 o'clock in the evening can be written 2 ways, 8.00 pm or 20.00 hrs

 

The activity below helps you to know this difference between am and pm when telling the time.
