On Wednesday you did some learning about the planets.

Can you remember which one we live on?

That's right- we live on Earth!

At night when it is dark outside and you look up into the sky, what do you see?

Any guesses?

The MOON!

Today we are learning about something very special about the moon. We will learn about the first man who walked on the moon called Neil Armstrong. Click on the link below for two videos about his experience.

You can even take the quiz at the bottom of the page for a little bit of fun.

You should now know who the first man to walk on the moon was. You should know what country he was from, and what year he walked on the moon.

To finish today's activity, please look at the document below and have a think about what Neil saw and how he was feeling during his mission to the moon.

Please keep your work safe for next week. You'll need it for our writing!
