On Monday we posted a short video about the Romans. The Romans, who were from Italy, invaded Britain around 2000 years ago and we became part of the Roman empire. The Romans ruled over Britain for around 500 years and had an enormous influence over how life was lived. They influenced the food that was eaten, medicine, transport, roads, buildings, art, hygiene, laws and the legal system and language. Watch this video to find out more.
In this video we are going to learn a little bit about the Roman empire. It is very important to know the past, to understand the present and shape the future.
