Writing
When we are planning to write a story we need to think a little bit about what happens at the beginning, what happens in the middle and what happens at the end. These different parts of a story are called plot points.
Beginning - this is where the characters and setting are introduced and described. What do they look like and why should we be interested in them?
Middle - this is where there is a change or problem of some kind that the characters have to deal with. Describe what the characters do about the problem and how do they feel?
End - this is where the story is resolved. The problem is solved, questions are answered, and the characters carry on with their lives.
