Please watch this presentation all about British values and then use the information you have learnt to design and create a poster to explain what British values are.

I have left you a few examples and key vocabulary you might want to include in your poster so please feel free to check these out.

All you need is a piece of paper and a pen/pencil/crayons or felt tips. You can draw or write on your poster to explain British values or you can do both.

Tuesday 26th January 2021

Today in PSHE we are going to learn about good feelings and not so good feelings.

To start off with think of some good feelings and some not so good feelings and then write them down on a piece of paper using the above headings or use the worksheet below.

Click on the  the link below and listen to the story about feelings. See if you can spot any feelings that you did not think off and add them to your list.

The Great Big Book of Feelings by Mary Hoffman and Ros Asquith story time with Laura's Story Corner

Our feelings can change one minute we can be happy and the next minute we can be not happy.

Maz our Alien friend from space is getting very confused about why his feelings keep changing during the day. This is making him very worried, can you help him with his feelings.

Have a look at some of the problems Maz is having on the worksheet and see if you can help him out.

Tuesday 19th January 2021

Today in our lesson we are going to continue to learn about feelings and How it feels like inside our bodies.

You will need your Alien picture of Maz.

Look at the feelings vocabulary cards and ask your child to describe how the word on their card might feel in Maz’s body. Ask:

  1. in his body might Maz experience this feeling?
  2. might happen to his face when he feels it?
  3. might happen to his body when he feels it?

For example: Worried: Maz might…clench his fist. Maz’s legs start feeling shaky. Maz’s tummy hurts. Maz bites his nails. Maz’s teeth start to chatter.

Remember we all are all different we might have the same feeling but our bodies might react in different ways.

Inside Out: Guessing the feelings.

What are they feeling?

With your child read Feelings scenarios, then discuss which feelings they think the characters are experiencing and write their answers on the sheet or on a plain piece of paper.
