It's the middle of the week and time for two more sentences. I hope you all had a good go at getting an alliterative word into your sentences yesterday.
Today we are going to be thinking about the feelings lens (the symbol is at the bottom of this page and on your worksheet). First can you watch the video up to 3 minutes and 46 seconds. We are now going to think about how Rocket would feel when his mum said he could go to the park.
How do you feel when you are told you can go to the park?

Freddie Fantastic and his fantastic friends have got a new word for us, they said you could feel thrilled about going to the park. Can you say that word? Thrilled.

Now I am going to write my first sentence thinking about that feeling lens and our character Rocket.
My sentence is:

Ok now I am ready to think about my second sentence. But what lenses are we using to improve this one? Yes well done, the alliteration lens and the punctuation lens.
Right I have a couple of mistakes in my sentence, can you help me pick them out? Yes you're right! I have forgotten the capital letter 'R' for Rocket's name and I have missed a finger space between the words to and the.
My second sentence is:
Rocket feels thrilled about going to the pretty park.
