Welcome

We are committed to our nurturing and inclusive community that encourages lifelong learners, equipped to meet the challenges of the future with confidence, creativity, and a commitment to making a positive impact.

Year 2

We have been growing flowers and vegetables in our garden as part of our science curriculum. Today some of the children picked the vegetables and the teachers made them into a delicious curry! We also observed lots of different mini beasts including worms, woodlice and millipedes.

Have a look at the photographs to see the process.

Welcome back everyone.

Our topic is now 'Food Glorious Food'.

We hope that you all have a fun, relaxing holiday.

The children have got homework cards to learn the 2, 5 and 10 multiplication tables.  Please take some time to support your child with this.

We look forward to seeing you all again on 11th April 2016.

Dear Parents,

We have been learning how to tell the time in year 2 for the last 2 weeks. We should know how to tell the time to o’clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to. By the end of the year we need to be able to tell the time in 5 minute intervals, e.g. five past 1, twenty five to 6.

Could you please practise with your children over half term? This would really help us.

Thank you,

Mrs Kelk, Miss Lee and Miss Coleman

A piece of work has been sent home today with your child.
