Visitor and Parent Comments

Dear Mr Dorridge,

I am not a parent of a child at Angelsea Primary but wish I was. I am writing to thank you and the staff at your school for the fantastic teaching you have posted on YouTube during school closures. They have not only been a lifesaver but have inspired my son who is in year 3 and has really been struggling with English. He’s learnt so much from the lessons posted, particularly those by Mr Jordan.

I very much hope your school gets recognition for the help it has provided its pupils but also children from much further afield.

Kind regards

Thank you to Anglesey primary school for giving our daughter the best education and experience.
Our child started in Resource base, she was in Mrs Padwagga's class. With the help and support from Mrs Padwagga she worked extremely hard and was able to go back into mainstream school. In mainstream she worked hard with the wonderful staff and now she's starting secondary school.
We are really proud of her achievements and excited for her next chapter of learning.
We will never forget where she started from and the amazing staff that helped her all the way through to year 6.
Once again thank you to everyone!!!

Some year 6 children were involved in a Citizen's Uk assembly last year. Read the thank you note we recieved from the Co Chair person.

KS2 children were involved in a Citizen's Uk assembly to support the charity.

Thank you so much for all the hard work the staff put in to make the school a better environment. My child was a librarian. They should have a free break at playtime.

My daughter attends Language resource based, she only start in March last year. The staff here, go out of their way to help the children. They are always helpful when approached, they have pushed my daughter, today she is a confident and cheerful little girl. She gained a lot of confidence, settled really well at the resource based. I would like to thank the staff who really work hard to help the child to make progress. Once again thank you for your support and hard work towards my child. We really appreciate it, as you always go out of your way to help her.

From The Young Shakespeare Company...

Year 5 have had the amazing opportunity to work with the Welsh National opera. The children have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and our visitors have left some wonderful comments about our school.

Good afternoon Sue.

I feel compelled to let you and your staff know how much I am
enjoying my time at Anglesey!

I have found the behaviour of the children to be exemplary!
In our initial meeting you mentioned how the pupils are well behaved and
how you didn’t expect me to have any issues but to come straight to you should anything occur.  I am happy to be contacting you with the exact opposite.
I have found the behaviour of the children at Anglesey to be the best I
have had the pleasure to teach.  The children listen, respond
quickly and politely and many ask questions if they are unsure of what is
expected.  I have found the pupils to not only be respectful and polite to me but also friendly in their interactions with each other.

I feel privileged to be part of the Anglesey Primary School
team and would like to thank you, your staff and the children for making me feel so welcome.

Kind regards,

Catherine.
