This is the final week to complete your project on Islam. Gather together all your information and ideas and present them as a poster, a powerpoint, a fact file or in a video report.

If you are a Muslim, try to include your opinions and personal experiences of your religion.

If you follow a different faith, or no faith, try to compare Islam to your religion or experiences.

Email or send your work in to school.

• The 5 pillars of Islam.
• The main festivals

Can you retell an Islamic story for children? Ask your family or research Islamic stories for children online. These websites may help you...

RE - Islam

Week beginning 18th January

Our RE focus this term is Islam. 

You will do a project on Islam by searching for information on the internet, reading books or using the knowledge you or your family already have. 

The project is based on research carried out by you. It could be in the form of a fact file, a poster, or something else.

Your project needs to include - 

• Information about Islamic Prayer
• information about the Qur'an
• A retelling of an Islamic story that you know - ask your family for help
• Choose a key figure in Islam and explain what they have done for their faith
