If you have a piece of paper, a pencil and crayons,  you can copy this diagram of a volcano. If you don't have any paper available study the diagram and try and remember the details of the picture.

You can also watch these videos from YouTube to find out what a volcano is, why and where they happen.

You can have a go at making your own volcanic eruption by following these instructions. You will need some common kitchen ingredients.

Rock Detectives

In school we have been learning about rocks and soil.

We learned about four layers of our earth

  1. Crust
  2. Mantle
  3. Outer Core
  4. Inner Core
