Fractions - Equivalent Fractions

 

Continuing on from lessons by Mr Jordan and Mrs Patterson here is a Powerpoint explaining what equivalent fractions are. When you have read and worked through the Powerpoint have a go at the worksheets.

 

EQUIVALENT MEANS 'THE SAME AS' OR 'EQUAL TO'.

 

There is a good chance you will not be able to print off the worksheet but you should still have a look at it. Maybe grab a piece of paper and a pencil and try to copy out some equivalent fractions. The circles are really difficult to draw - it is much easier to draw the rectangles or bar fractions.
