Sports Day
We had a lovely afternoon down at the Juniors. All the children raced on the grass and we finished off with a refreshing ice lolly, which cooled us down!
As promised, here are some pictures of the day.
We had a FANTASTIC day at Hatton Farm. The children were so excited and we have put some photos on the website to show you their faces when they saw the animals.
On the way there, they loved looking out of the windows on the coach and spotting all the different things in the countryside. On the way back, most of them were asleep!!
At the farm, they held and fed the animals, had a tractor ride and played on the outdoor area where some brave children whizzed down on the zip wire! There was also a soft play area where the favourite bit was a big bumpy slide which didn't scare our children at all!
The children were beautifully behaved and the weather was kind to us, so all in all, I think we can count the trip as a big success!
Please remember to hear your child read as often as possible. Also encourage them to write on their new whiteboards - maybe they could write about the trip?
They are all starting to make loads of progress and the more support and encouragement which you give them, the more progress they will make!
Thank you!
Don't forget to look out for your little slip of paper (next steps), which shows you what we are working on with your child for the next 5 weeks. Please ask your teacher if there is anything you don't understand. It is really important that you are involved in your child's learning.
