DLD Awareness Day

 

We have been celebrating DLD Awareness Day.

 Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) is when a child or a person has long term difficulties in being able to use and understand language. The children may struggle to find the words to express ideas, have trouble organising sentences, having conversations or telling a story.
