Child Initiated Activity 1
Activity 1: Explore the world of The Gruffalo
Objective: (1) To explore and discuss a familiar story;
(2) To use technology for a purpose, completing a simple game / program using a computer or IT device
Visit the ‘Activities’ section of The Gruffalo website (see link below) and take a stroll through the deep, dark wood with your child.
Support them to navigate the web page, selecting different games to complete as they practise their IT skills in the process.
Use this opportunity to talk about the story and encourage your child to recall the main events and characters.
