Welcome to Anglesey Primary School! Welcome to our new updated website. We made the changes following consultation with parents. We hope it is easier to navigate and has all of the information you need. Please continue to share your ideas with us.

Year 4

All the Year 4 staff would like to welcome back all the parents and children. We are looking forward to an exciting year ahead.

PE Timetable
PE days in Year 4:
4W- Thursdays and Fridays
4M- Mondays and Wednesdays
4F- Mondays and Wednesdays
Please make sure a PE kit is in school at all times, including a white t-shirt and black shorts/leggings/tracksuit and PE pumps/trainers.


Children in Year 4 are expected to know all of their timetables (12x12) and be able to recall the multiplication facts quickly. Children should practise these facts every night.
Children in Year 4 are also expected to do at least 10 minutes of reading every night after school.
Year 4 will be going swimming this year. 4W will be starting in the Autumn term. A letter will be going home to notify parents of the exact date.
Atherstone and Birmingham
For our Geography topic this term we will be visiting the market town of Atherstone and Birmingham City Centre. Details will be sent home about these trips very soon.

4F - Last week we drew the houses in our urban environment. This week we are making them out of clay.
