Pupil Premium Grant - Important Information

~ Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) - Important
Information for Parents
Did you know that registering your child
for Pupil Premium Grant (PPG)
funding can provide an extra £1,500 per
year to support their education? This funding
is used to enhance learning experiences,
provide additional support, and ensure all
children have access to the best
opportunities at Anglesey Primary School.

We have noticed a gap in PPG registrations
between younger and older children, and we
want to ensure that every eligible child is
receiving this support. If your child is
in Reception to Year 6, they may qualify for
this funding if you receive any of the
following:

~ Universal Credit (household income
below £7,400 per year)
~ Income Support
~ Jobseeker's Allowance
~ Child Tax Credit (not receiving Working
Tax Credit)

Why register?

• Extra learning support: Funding
helps provide additional teachers and
teaching assistants to support your
child's learning.
• Enrichment activities: It contributes
to free or discounted school trips,
clubs, and activities.
• School resources: Helps the school
invest in better equipment, books, and
technology.

Even if your child is already
receiving Universal Infant Free School
Meals (Reception, Year 1, and Year 2),
they still need to be registered for PPG
separately to access this funding.

Registering is quick and easy. If you think
your child may be eligible, please contact the
school office or visit the School Website for more details.

Thank you for your support in helping
us secure the best opportunities for our
pupils!
