The following information is taken directly from a Public Health webinar with Dr Justin Varney: Director of Public Health, Birmingham City Council. (06.01.22) If someone in your household has tested positive and your child is 5 years old or over, they should come into school. The child should do daily lateral flow tests. If someone in your household has tested positive and your child is under 5, then they should stay at home with the person who has tested positive until the isolation period is over.
